The students of the Diplomatische Akademie Wien are proud to organize the 30^th edition of their annual Charity Ball, taking place on 12 April 2025. This prestigious event traditionally welcomes over 600 guests, including ambassadors, diplomats and business leaders, offering a unique opportunity to connect and celebrate.

This year, we warmly invite you to join us at the Diplomatic Ball in support of Autonome Österreichische Frauenhäuser, an organization dedicated to combating domestic violence and providing essential support to women and children in need. All proceeds will be donated to help further their critical work in Austria.

The Charity

Autonome Österreichische Frauenhäuser (AÖF) is a leading NGO in Austria dedicated to supporting women and children affected by domestic violence. Since its founding in 1988, AÖF has been a vital resource, offering shelter, counseling and support services to those in need. Through its network of women's shelters and initiatives such as the 24-hour women's helpline, AÖF works tirelessly to prevent violence, raise awareness and empower women to rebuild their lives in safety.

Dress Code

The dress code is gala.

Ladies: Floor-length evening dress, mess dress uniform, formal national costume (below the knee). Please note that white dresses shall be reserved for debutantes.
Men: Dinner jacket / tuxedo, smoking with bow tie, mess dress uniform or formal national costume (below the knee).

Please note that the dress code will be strictly enforced.
